Brad, and his wife Kendra, have been married since 1985 and are blessed with three boys: Kiley (and family-Lithia, FL), Koda (and family-Lakewood Ranch), FL and Jaden (and family-Palmetto, FL). In his free time, you will find Pastor Brad serving others, reading, enjoying grandkids, attending sports events, exploring beaches and the great outdoors.

We are grateful to have Pastor Brad leading us here at Southside, so if you are looking for a church home where the truth of God's Word is preached unapologetically, we invite you to come worship/serve, either full-time or during your seasonal visit.  We would love to spend time getting to know you and introduce you to our Southside family through weekly services, Bible Studies and gatherings!

In May of 2016, Jaden heeded the divine calling to serve in the ministry and received his official ordination in December 2018. Jaden's spiritual journey with Christ commenced at the young age of five during revival services when he embraced Jesus as his personal Savior. His calling is deeply rooted in the mission to share the message of Christ, using both music and the spoken Word.
For the past decade, Jaden, alongside his wife Lacey, has been fervently lifting prayers for our worship ministry at Southside. His heartfelt desire is for our community to authentically humble itself in worship of our King, whether through song or the reading of God's Word. The desire is that the Unashamed Worship Team will guide you to a place where you are ready to receive the message that God has in store for you.

Sam Byram was ordained at Southside Baptist Church as a deacon and currently serves as our Children's Minister.  Sam has deep roots here at SSBC and has served in a variety of capacities over the years.  God has blessed Sam with a strong passion to teach children and youth about the love of Jesus Christ and living their faith out on a daily basis.  Sam uses his calm demeanor and many talents to teach, plan, coordinating trips, games, programs and trips that are tailored specifically for the kids he's been entrusted to serve.  Sam and his wife Carrie, along with their family, reside in Palmetto, FL and we are blessed to have their leadership here at SSBC.
